Hello, my name is Carmen Waselick.  I am the teacher at Elk Point Outreach School.  I hold a Bachelor of Education degree with a minor in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta.  I began my career teaching Kindergarten in a small town in East Central Alberta, and remained in Elementary Education in a variety of positions until this year!  

 

I am very excited to begin my journey in Outreach, as it has always been my passion to help students find their path, both academically and personally.  I believe every child is unique and has wonderful gifts to offer the world.  I believe the most important part of teaching is building strong, positive relationships that will have a lasting impact on every student I teach.  My classroom is a safe, caring environment where we allow students to explore their learning styles, and ensure that no student gets left behind!
